Since my Media Conference on the 23rd March 2019, I have posed one question a day to Zambry in the form of issuing one media statement a day until today. However, there was not a single response from Zambry on the various questions that I raised. Zambry only responded once for the past 23 days where he accused me of subjecting him to a trial by the media without addressing any of the questions I raised.
Zambry also said that he is getting ready for the barrage of allegations and accusations from Pakatan Harapan at the coming Perak state assembly sitting.
Let me correct Zambry that for the past 23 days all the questions that I raised are facts and evidence stated in the Special Internal Audit Report on MAPS and not unsubstantiated allegations and accusations.
Is Zambry ready to answer and give a proper explanation on all the questions that I have raised and not to copy Najib’s example of finger pointing at the board of directors on the 1MDB scandal in the state assembly on the RM607M MAPS project?
Let me remind Zambry that with holding the twin position of Perak Menteri Besar and Chairman of PKNP, he held the state highest elected public office and head of government hence need to be fully responsible and accountable for the company affairs and financials of PCB, PCBD and ATP which he had direct control.
A common feature of these companies (PCB, PCBD and ATP) was that the true power directing and managing their affairs did not lie with the board of directors – as is required by law and is the universal practice wherever companies carry on business – but with Zambry by virtue of holding these two positions.
I will personally handover all the 23 questions I have issued thus far when I meet Zambry in the opening of state assembly tomorrow and I will raise all these questions on MAPS during my debate speech to get to the bottom of this issue.
