I strongly condemn the act of smearing chicken blood on Pakatan Leaders’ banner and the award to slap Teresa in her face by an NGO. This is the worst kind of political intimidation and thuggish behavior to incite racial and religious hatred in Malaysia.
MCA and Gerakan leaders who have twisted Teresa’s political satire video must be held fully responsible for this regretted incident.
The political satire video made no mention to any BN leaders but was twisted by MCA and Gerakan leaders to incite Malay and Muslim’s anger towards Teresa, DAP and Pakatan Rakyat leaders.
DAP had proposed to screen the video at the cabinet meeting explain the content of the video but the offer was turn down by Shafie Apdal. Are BN leaders afraid to face up the truth that there is no element of racial hatred in the video?
Gerakan Youth chief, Tan Keng Liang responded to Teresa Kok’s political satire video with the following comment. “If she doesn’t like Malaysia, she can go to Singapore. That is where DAP originated. Shameful video!”
Tan Keng Liang’s “get out of Malaysia” comment is irresponsible, degrading and shameless. No Malaysian should be told to leave the country by having a different opinion or political stand. I urge Tan Keng Liang to retract his comment and tender an apology to Teresa, DAP and all Malaysians who are offended by his insensitive remark.
Will MCA and Gerakan leaders who twisted Teresa’s video prepare to right the wrong by condemning this political thuggery in the strongest form and explain the true content of the political satire video to all Malaysians?
